Tale of Two Men

 This Sunday, August 23, the church will celebrate our 75th Anniversary.  Dr. Jeremy Westbrook will be preaching and it will be a great day as we combine for one worship service and praise the Lord together.

We recently changed my picture in the tree of Pastors on the wall by the offices.  You may get a kick at looking at the aging process in your pastor.  I told Renee, " I look like two different guys."  This top pic is even post mustache so factor that in.

My prayer is that I realize that there is always room to grow, spiritually, as leader, husband, dad, papaw, and friend.  We are not the same people we were thirty three years ago, nor are we the same church.  Through it all, and in the midst of it all, we can say that the Lord is faithful.

This Sunday we will also at a few opportunities that the Lord has presented for us to partner with as we seek to be an Acts 1:8 church.
