TenTwo

Today's Word as we begin a new month is harvest.  It is now October, (TenTwo) and one thing we know from living in Preble County is that the harvest is ready. Farm equipment is slowing down traffic as it moves from the farm to the field, and on to the grain bins for storage or transport.  Today is also a significant day in the life of Southern Baptists as well as we focus and pray for laborers to help with the harvest.  I am not talking about helping a farmer physically, though they surely need help to get the fields done.  I am talking about praying specifically for laborers to the mission field across the world, North America, and right here at home in our local church.  Here on October 2, (TenTwo), we are to pray Luke 10:2 that says,2  Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

Let us not only join hands, but let us join hearts as we ask the Lord to send laborers to the harvest field, which He says is ready and white unto harvest.

Eternity stands in the balance. Perhaps the Lord is calling you to the field, we need you.
